Opening Day

We went to the Reds game on Opening Day for the first time this year. Here are some pictures from the game. If you look really closely, you'll see the secret service out on the black building in center field and on the little landing at the bottom of the top deck down the left field line. Look at the bottom of the scoreboard, then go left and you'll see them. Anyway, it was also the kids first ballgame, though they didn't see too much! Oh yeah, this was 15 days before they were born - Dani was huge!
National Anthem, with both teams out on the field and an enormous American flag in center.
George W threw out the first pitch of the season. Everyone was given American flags, it was cool to see everyone waving them. They showed George in the Reds' locker room greeting everyone, Griffey gave him a bat.
The first pitch of the season, one of the few good pitches by Reds' pitchers that day! It was cold, somewhat wet, and a 12-6 loss, but it was opening day! What a fun event!

Scott Chester Anderson

At 11:19 PM on Saturday Scott was born. He weighed 8 lbs. 3 oz. and was 20.5 in. long. He looks a lot like the milkman.
Cheers

So, Jim wants to do a blog

I was sitting at my computer trying to figure out the best way to send the pictures to everyone from when we were together in Ohio and I thought "Why don't I just post them on a blog?"

Now, I know what you are thinking - a blog... are you serious? Actually, it is a pretty good idea and a way to share stories, photos, or just in general keep everyone up to date about what we are all up to.

Anyway, I'm going to start posting pictures to this to see if it will take off.
